Opis delavnice:

Creating Open Microcredentials to Match 21st Century Learning

Open Badges/Microcredentials are a flexible technology for issuing stackable, shareable, and open digital credentials to students that recognizes student learning, engagement, and accomplishments. As part of an overall open education agenda, open micro credentials can provide the credential to match open educational resources, open courses, and other forms of open learning. Started in 2011, there have been over 1500 organizations worldwide now issuing these open credentials. In this workshop we will first learn about open micro credentials, their history, and their potential future. We will then discuss potential applications of open badges in Slovenia, and design open micro credentials that can be used in your teaching, including the free technologies available to create and issue the credentials. This workshop is appropriate for teachers or administrators.
